May your stuffing be tasty
May your turkey plump
May your potatoes and gravy
have no lumps.
May your yams be delicious
And your pies take the prize
And may your Thanksgiving dinner
stay off your thighs!!

essentials
What does a 4 year old consider to be essential items for a trip? Lacey proudly packed her little purple suitcase today with:
bead necklaces
milk and juice bottles for babies
cotton candy suckers
one fruit roll up
cars
an indian hat
storybook
one marble
diary and the key
stuffed animal
doll blankets
and...... a picture of a cat standing on its hind legs, holding itself as it has to pee really, really bad.

peace
When the working mom guilt strikes (almost daily), I read this quote hanging beside my bedroom dresser:
"the quantity of hours spent working or thinking about working, or hours spent with our families, does not predict achievement or life satisfaction. instead, the quality of those hours- how stressful or relaxing they are- is a much more potent factor in producing a satisfying family life and career."
