Don't you just hate it when people forget about their blog?? Yeah, me too.
And, I'm guilty. Too much facebook. Facebook is just much quicker and requires less thought. I prefer my blog actually and enjoy writing when I have time. I have some big writing plans that may become a reality one day.
So many stories...so much to share....so little free time. Same old story.

highest bidder wins
Those darn silent auctions just get me every time!! Those talented, creative individuals that put together such nice baskets filled with anything and everything. Those sneaky fundraisers call my name!
This most recent fundraiser was for a very good cause, of course. The little 3 month old baby has already had 2 open heart surgeries and is still in the hospital. So... a little bit of money is hardly a sacrifice on our part.
I checked out all the cool baskets and placed my bid on three of them! It's so fun! The last time I bid on multiple baskets, I came home with 2 the next day.
When the strange phone number appeared on the caller ID the next day....I was hesitant to see how much money I'd spent. I only won one basket this time. I had bid on a cabin vacation in the mountains, a sight seeing flight and dinner and massage gift certificates.
To Adam's delight....I won the airplane trip. It's a 30 minute flight from a local airport. Should be fun :)

hey boyyyyyyfriend......
This was something like Lacey's conversation on her play cell phone last night.
We just left church and was heading to walmart. It was the funniest thing ever :)
"heyyyy boyyyfriend.....how's the babies???"
"yeah.....i thought jacob was sick. i thought he had the flu"
"tell the babies that i miss them"
"So......do you wanna break up with me?"
(big long sigh)
"HUSH IT DADDY!!"
"okay..... i got to stop at walmart then be home. i'm at the red light now."
"boyfriend.....tell the babies that i love them. okay?"
"yeah....uh huh......okay"
"love you too boyfriend. bye bye"
"MOMMY......DADDY IS LAUGHING AT ME"

decisions..decisions
The little four year old anxiously looked through the birthday party catalog. I told the birthday girl that she could pick any party theme and she was overjoyed! She carefully studied the cute little characters, animals and tv shows. And then...she made the choice! Probably the biggest decision she made that day :)
1st birthday was Strawberry Shortcake
2nd birthday was Elmo
3rd birthday was Mickey Mouse
4th birthday was Barbie
and now.....I am planning a PIG party for her 5th birthday!!
