We spent the afternoon at the pool, just playing and relaxin' on Father's Day. I could stay there all day!
Happy Father's Day to my Dad, my father-inlaw, my brother and my friends!
Pastor spoke today about being a Dad and the responsibility it involves. He said something this morning that I will probably never forget. He was talking about everything we try to teach our kids as they grow. He said... "the only thing we can take to heaven one day...is our kids!" That is the most important thing we can teach them...everything else is just minor in comparison. What an awesome responsibility we have as parents to teach our little ones about Jesus and how he is the only way to heaven!
Lacey is lucky enough to have a Daddy that prays with her and sings Bible songs with her and just adores her. He takes her to church each week and makes sure she knows that Jesus loves her. He is a Godly example to her and she is so blessed to have him as a father.
