Are you ready for the Olympics? I can hardly wait to watch the opening ceremonies this Friday! I remember complaining as a child because the Olympics messed up our regular tv show schedule but now, I'm excited to watch it! Gymnastics is my favorite! I'm cheering for Shawn Johnson, a sweet little 16 yr old gymnast that is going for the gold. She is a world champion and is on the women's team for 2008. You can check out her website at shawnjohnson.net. As a baby, she skipped crawling and started walking at 9 months. Her mom enrolled her in gymnastics at age 3 to burn off alot of energy! Mom always knows best huh?
13 years later, she is a world champion and will be watched by millions again soon!
