BEAUTIFUL HOTEL
There is a town a couple hours from home that we love to visit, maybe 1 or 2 times a year, usually in the spring and around Christmas. Embassy Suites is a treat in itself! If you never stayed there, you should try it sometime. The room is so nice...actually its 2 separate rooms, king size bed, refrig and microwave, table, etc. Each evening is a free managers reception with nice appetizers and drinks. The interior of the hotel is atrium stlye- open in the middle. They have a wonderful made to order breakfast each morning, that is complimentary with your room. The nice cook will make any kind of omelet you want, pancakes, waffles, meats.....
The hotel is always host to some kind of event and this particular weekend was no exception. The day we arrived we were surrounded by Vietnam Veterans and their family, attending some kind of weekend conference. And then the next night, the hotel played host to a charity event called Dancing with the Stars. We didn't have tickets of course, so we could only see a little of the "stars".
We always hit the big mall and do a little shopping. We saw the wrestler Ric Flair at the mall signing autographs and we got some photos. He's lookin' pretty rough now. Me and Lacey enjoyed our first visit to Chuck E Cheese and we had a ball :) We played with the robot on stage and then she was surprised to see the "real" mouse come walking over to us! We were there for like 4 hours and had a good time. We also checked out the Clay Center on this trip. We experienced all of the science galleries and other exhibits. Really lots to do for kids!
