If you have kids, especially little ones, you may find this funny...
Early this morning, I quietly made a bowl of oatmeal in the dim kitchen light. I opened the microwave door and guess what I found? It took me by surprise to find a heavy, half gallon carton of milk laying inside. I giggled and remembered how Lacey was "cooking" her milk the night before. Obviously, she forgot to put the milk back in the fridge. It was the "good" milk as Lacey and Daddy says. Some kind of milk in a carton with a cow on the front...I don't know. So I poured it all down the sink and giggled a little more as I thought about my silly little girl.
A few hours later I was at work and talking to Adam on the phone. As we were talking he was making breakfast and opened the microwave. (I hadn't told him about my finding this morning) And guess what he found? Yet another heavy, half gallon carton of the good milk laying inside- again! He yelled at her and put the cold milk back in the fridge. I thought it was funny- again. You just never know where you may find things in your house. Lacey loves to take things, hide them, and they are never seen again. And as much as I'd like some bills disappear...we are trying to teach her that it's not funny to hide stuff from us.
If that didn't make you laugh...maybe this will. Today a complete stranger called me, and I quote, "AN ARROGANT LITTLE TYRANT!" As this 50 year old childish man yelled at me, I wasn't quite sure how insulted I should be. I really wanted to tell him that my arrogant job paid quite nicely and I appreciated his support! But since I need a steady paycheck, I just listened to him spout off and repeatedly call me this name and hang up. I immediately grabbed my dictionary and looked up the word tyrant. I guess I'm viewed as some kind of ruler in this great nation. I love the power! What an idiot!
